I used to hear people talk about a four-twenty-four hour period school calendar week. It sounded like a fabulous thought, but I couldn't wrap my mind around how information technology would work. Now, more than v years later, we're withal reaping the benefits of a built-in catch-up day.

Planning optional activities for review and further exploration is i of the about of import things I learned about catch-up days. In other words, I started planning our "regular" give-and-take for 4 days a week with another day each week dedicated to enrichment activities and other extras. By doing that, my kids are learning all 5 days a week, but nosotros take an pick on our enrichment day.
